Mike Martz is a D*ck, in fact he may be the biggest d*ck in the NFL, but to curse him when a camera is pointed in your face on SNF? Straight GANGSTA!

Guru - Week 6 Picks
I had a terrible week last week going 0-3-0, all bad losses. Brings my dismal season totals to 4-8-0. Looking to rebound this week with the following.
Here is my Cheerleader of the week: Buffalo Jill - Miranda, is ready for some action!
Bills +3.5 at the Giants - Eli throws Madd picks, the Bills love pick sixes. Bills win this game.
Colts +7 at the Bengals - One of the teams that may be as bad as the Colts is the Bengals. How is a rookie quarterback getting 7 points over Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis? They are going to smash the orange out of his hair.
Bears -3 vs. the Vikings - Bears should handle the Vikings at home this week. The Vikings are still the terrible team that we saw weeks 1-4.

Guru - Week 5 Picks
Titans Cheerleader Clair - The Guru's Cheerleader of the week!
Titans +3.5 @ the Steelers - Even without Kenny Britt, these guys are playing well. Steelers are banged up and old, I'll take the 3.5 points.
Bears +6 @ the Lions - The Lions have had two 4th quarter comebacks in consecutive weeks. Even if they win against a tough Bears squad, it wont be by more than 6.
Bucs +3 @ the 49ers - I think the 49ers will take a step back after beating the Eagles last week. Bucs should take this game out in Cali.

Marion Barber is Not a Gymnast
Marion Barber attempted to celebrate his first touchdown as a Bear by doing a back flip, only to fall flat on his face in front of millions of people. Didn't this guy just have a calf injury 2 weeks ago? He almost had to add a concussion to his list of 2011 injuries. I have watched this video 5 times and I have laughed all five times, such a classic hammerhead move.

NFL London

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell informed the SportsBusiness Journal yesterday that two games will be played overseas during next year’s NFL regular season. The SportsBusiness Journal reports that BOTH games will be played in London. London’s Wembley Stadium has hosted an NFL regular season game since 2007. This year’s game on October 23rd will feature the Chicago Bears vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay will be the “home” team meaning they will actually only play seven games at Raymond James Stadium, their normal home stadium. Malcolm Glazer the Buccaneers owner is ALSO the owner of the English Premier Soccer team Manchester United.
It looks like Goodell is trying to copy NBA commissioner David Stern’s lead by marketing the NFL overseas. The NBA has been very successful in expanding its brand in Europe and Asia. Starting with the hype of the Dream Team playing in the 1992 Summer Olympic in Barcelona, basketball has severely increased in popularity over the past two decades outside of the US. This was cumulated in the fact that the USA team did not win the 2004 Olympic gold medal in basketball, something they easily we able to win in the previous three Summer Olympic games.
Will London one day have its own NFL team? Only time will tell. I am sure the west coast teams will enjoy that 12+ hour flight to London! Expanding into Canada makes more sense. The game is played in Canada already; Canada has its own football league the CFL, and an existing fan base. The Buffalo Bills are in the middle of a five year agreement to play one home game in Toronto until 2012.
I’d be annoyed if I am a Buccaneers or Bills fan. Play a pre-season game overseas! Do not take away one of the only eight regular season home games that I can attend as a fan each year. Talking with all my friends in London today, the NFL is a novelty. They have their own “football” which is soccer. What’s next? "Hello fans, Jim Nance and Phil Simms here live from Kazakhstan for Super Bowl XLL!!!"

Scholar's Week 3 Picks

Chiefs have scored 10 points total in both games. They lost their best weapon on offense and it sucked to begin with. Man I feel sorry for Chiefs fans, September and they're already looking forward to the draft in April. It's a tough call with such a large spread but I like the Chargers laying the points. Watch out for the Back-Door cover though.
Packers -3.5 vs. the Bears
Usually these teams play close games. The Pack gave the people who chose them in the King of the Hill pools a scare last week as they were down early to the upstart Panthers. So who knows what's going to happen on Sunday. But the Bears offensive line is doing their best impression of swiss cheese. Cutler won't last long if they don't begin to jell. Packers should cover with ease.
Redskins +5.5 at the Cowboys
If you haven't noticed yet, I really like what I see out of the Washington Redskins this season. Both in fantasy and reality. The Cowboys almost lost to the 49'ers last week and they're pretty banged up. Romo has a rib/lung issue, Dez Bryant is dealing with a quad problem and Felix Jones is already nicked up with a separated shoulder. All 3 will probably be on the field but they will be without Miles Austin. Take the points.
