Cutler – he’s vocalized that he’s unhappy with the pass/run ratio. But that should mean LESS chances not more. But sometimes less IS more. Cutler is a fine QB and he'll have a lot of chances to throw at the so-so Panthers. This is a good matchup for him and if you have 2 middle of the road QB’s today is the day to roll with Cutler.
Kolb – Call it a hunch but I think Kolb will have a big game against the G-men today. It doesn’t hurt that he has Larry Fitz on his side.
Reggie Bush/Steve Slaton – No Dan Thomas means mostly Reggie with some Slaton sprinkled in. Earlier this week they signed Steve Slaton and if you’re desperate for a RB Slaton could be a decent flier. Bush always misses time and with the increased workload both could be decent starts this week. I don’t know how much of the playbook Slaton could have picked up in one week but don’t underestimate his value this week.
Denarius Moore - Pats secondary has been blistered (all 3 opponents had a 100 yd receiver). I'm considering benching Steve Smith (Car) in one of my leagues to start Moore. That's how much I like him this week.
Jordy Nelson – He’s a solid flex play every week but I especially like his chances this week against the soft Denver defense.
Greg Olsen – Unless you have a top flight TE that is a must start Olsen is the preferred TE to put in your lineup. If you’re on the fence b/w Olsen and your other TE (I don’t normally advocate carrying two TE’s on a roster but with the bevy of injuries it’s likely most teams have to make a choice between 2 unspectacular players.)
Jared Cook – I know this is a longshot but in order to win games and ultimately championships you have to take risks. Cook is a guy I expect to launch onto the fantasy radar this weekend. I’m no clairvoyant but if I’m desperate at TE I would be comfortable starting him.
